Exhibition profiles:
The cotton yarn, cotton, jeans and terry cloths, knitted cloth, readymade garments and jersey, raw silk, wadding, washed wool, cattle skin, textile equipment, household textiles and many others as well as chemical production will be widely exhibited in the exposition.

In fact, the textile industry has existed in Turkmenistan for many decades; however, this economic sector’s share in the life of the country was less than 10 percent, a place much lower than it deserves to occupy. Turning out hundreds of thousand tons of cotton fiber annually, Turkmenistan, by the day of gaining independence, had processed less than 3 per cent of the textile raw material. And only in the years of independence Turkmenistan has turned into the biggest producer of textiles from a supplier of raw materials to the world markets.
During the years of independence dozens of the textile enterprises had been constructed and put into operation in Turkmenistan that enabled to increase the volume of ginned cotton processed in the country from 3 to 50 percent testified to dynamic development of one of the leading sectors of Turkmen economy. Thus, within the unprecedented period the full-scale processing infrastructure including the network of the cotton spinning factories, weaving mills and garment factories manufacturing the products able to compete with the world-renowned analogues was established in Turkmenistan. Over 90 per cent of the manufactured textiles is exported to the US, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Turkey, China and Ukraine.
